Didn't they said before release that the album is going to have something for everyone? Well, where are the heavy, aggressive songs with screams and growls? They had them till The Mindsweep (easily their best album imo) .. really disappointed at the lack of any heavy song on this album

They said something among the likes of "there is stuff that wouldn't be out of place on CD and TTTS" which is definitely true. Don't know about the other statement though. Screams and raspy stuff is now used as a texturing device for vocal layers most of the time and I'm fine with that tbh.

Bit of a mixed bag, I like tracks 1, 3, 7, 9-11 and 13

Like every other album they've produced.

Only a normie could have an opinion like that tbh

I think this is way more consistent than their other stuff, yes it's all over the place but I think the songs fit nicely with eachother. For now I think this is might be their best record ever

I don't shame normies though. It's okay to have wrong opinions

It's interesting that singles didn't sit well with me but this is pretty fun. "the king" kinda stinks, but the rest is cool.

Huh... this album is actually pretty enjoyable for the most part. I don't find the production that everyone is praising to be particularly impressive, but it's pretty damn good. Was feeling skeptical at first but found myself jamming starting from track 5. Thoroughly enjoyed modern living, the pressure's on, Marionettes (esp II) and satellites.

Rubicon is quickly wearing off me and does not help that the lyrics are pretty repetitive

I had the same experience, still lots of gold on this album

I'm giving it a proper listen and reading lyrics as I go through it and that probably killed it for me
