I was using the site for probably a year or so before I actually made an account, if I remember right
Pretty sure I wanted to try my hand at reviewing so I decided to pull the trigger. And here we are 8 years later, and I haven't reviewed anything since 2013 and am still under 10,000 comments

It generally took me a week to review something (which generally doesn't work very well for new releases unless you got a hold of something in advance) and an almost exhausting amount of listening to really get a feel for the album and write about it
Altho, it doesn't seem like reviews get posted on a daily basis as often as they used to, but maybe it is just me

For sure. There's also a large different between now and the beginning of the year. This website, as well as other outlets, saw a renaissance because of quarantine shutting down a lot of jobs or otherwise restricting what one could do with their free time. With a lot of countries returning to somewhat normal conditions, the circumstances have changed a bit.
