I guess this is the most consistent Muse gets. You know, next to Absolution. I can't get into Origin.

Origin is like a great athlete who spends all his energy in the first half of the race and can't keep that same speed for the rest.

That said, nothing on this album can touch New Born.

New Born is my favourite Muse song for sure, but the question is ninjuice, for you, who would win a race between Absolution and Origin?

I am half expecting Ataven to come on right now and start telling me I am tard for not saying Origin.. haha

The very top of my ratings page would answer this: Absolution. No question.

Its Origin For Me but that's because it was the first non-Nirvana album I learned fully on bass. It was also the reason I got an effects pedal for my bass.

All their albums are pretty similar in quality imo, except showbizwhich is clearly their weakest. I'd say Absolution is their best, mainly because of its consistancy, then Origin, then this.

I'm going to go with Absolution > Black Holes > Symmetry > Biz.

Girlfriend made me a cd with Apocalypse Please and Time Is Running Out, which I loved, so I went out and got Absolution. I've been meaning to get this but never have.

Absolution isn't THAT great an album.

Its singles are much better than itself as a cohesive start-to-finish album.

For me it goes: Absolution 4.9/5 >> Origin 4.2 >>>> this 3.8

most overrated band on the website

Funny coming from a Converge fanboy.

They're just Radiohead with fast riffs amirite

"most overrated band on the website"

nah, that title is for Opeth.

Origin does have a very very impressive first half, even 3/4. Micro cuts is where it starts to die for me, but then Feeling Good and Darkshines bring it back
