I think it holds enough appeal for both camps that differentiating in the first place is a bit of a split end

Yeah I mean, baroque folk, neoclassical, it's all in there.

Feels like I'm suspended in the cool, colorful dust of an interstellar cloud just before things start to collide.

"Disagree. The baroque-folk runs so strongly"
Folk baroque/chamber folk refers to specific guitar or harp led compositions and is derived of classical music anyways. This is chamber pop. The classical elements are most prevalent.

Chamber Pop seems like the correct term. There are heavy doses of folk in this, as well.

Kind of funny that there is even a relation. Because anyone into Baroque or Classical would consider this to be straight Pop.
|
| |
Ok so neoclassical baroque chamber folk pop.
Seems accurate, good job everyone.

Her voice is crazy good in here, even on those tracks with electronics over it. I think I may like this more than Citizen...although I'm checking her full LP discog today.

You'd really dig Aventine and Philharmonics too I think DDD! Those two are so gorgeous.

I thought you'd never show up X) here you are...I'm on it, once I finish Citizen of Glass respin...It's pre sweet, I still struggle and find it over minimalist.
I dig the layers on this one...it gives the desired depth to songs.

Hmm, maybe the earlier ones are too minimalist for you then, because they for instance do not feature the electronic elements at all. Citizen introduced those.

Don't need to have electronics whatsoever for me to like it...and I only justified why Citizen strikes me as a 3.5 at the end of the day, and this hits me as 4. Digging Fuel to Fire already, beautiful pace.
I think you've mentioned something about the use of silences, maybe I'm not used to it, and think of Citizen as too much "stop and go", maybe too artsy? or experimental?...

Could be yeah, Citizen surely is a little weirder than Aventine and Philharmonics. They're more down to earth, incredibly beautiful records though, so it could go either way!
But by the looks of it you seem to enjoy them which makes me very happyyy!
