just looked at the page for Tides from Nebula
"Similar Bands: Explosions In The Sky, Russian Circles, If These Trees Could Talk, Godspeed You! Black Emperor,"
if that's true at all, color me intrigued

Hey DarkNoctus it was me! *cheers*
Freak, I think the last Tides album is their best, start with this one. And then Eternal Movement.
I saw them live but the lead guitarist was sick so it was pretty underwhelwming. Stoked to see them again at ArcTanGent this summer.

The last 2 tracks on this are fantastic, rest of the album has its ups and downs but Ishmael and the T/T are incredible

This is way better than I remembered it being. Listened to it a couple of times when it came out and it was nice but didn't really click. It does now hot damn. Couple of magnificent songs on here.

Album is better when shuffled into a classic post-rock playlist.

This would be out of place next to bands like Slint, Tortoise, long fin killie and Pram.

Could be reaching here but Ishmael might end up as an SOTY contender imo. Excellent buildup and the climax is very very satisfying. Love that track

Wow this is great. Sound is denser than their other albums. A ton of stuff going on here. SleepMakesWaves is a good comparison.
