Yeah, a 4 is too high...I might bring this rating down. By far my least favorite Tool release. It sounds so immature/incomplete compared to their other three albums.

Vicarious, Jambi, The Pot and 10,000 Days are a million times better than anything on this album imo, but yeah it was kind of inconsistent with its quality.

one of the best mixing efforts i have ever listened to, sylvia massy really kiks ass on her console. a classic without a shadow of doubt, much prefer paul d'amour over justin chancellor at the bass, songs go straight to the point while aenima lacks solidity. keenan is at his best here

Kinda agree with Lucca. This is more consistent than 10,000 days but 10,000 had better highlights.
