Exactly @Rustune. Lame world we live in... I remember when everybody mocked Varg's way of living just because he was a "Nazi" and then run to throw climate change pamphlets in your face without realising Varg was actually living in a way more natural than any of them... I just posted this exact same thing in another thread but I'll copy paste anyway: Nowadays pretty much everyone sees the mote in one's brother's eye without noticing the beam in one's own. And applied to social networks, which are absolute cancer, this behaviour is the norm.

sorry i am too blinded by the beam of varg's lustrously small carbon footprint to notice the mote of ethnic cleansing in his eye what a bother

to be fair if more of us were like Varg the planet would become more sustainable and nature would thrive, less carbon emissions, high murder rates / lower life expectancy etc. = happy bunny rabbits
In fact if we all just let the hate flow we'd wipe each other out in no time, best for everyone involved really.

Guess what—Varg has flaws. What are they? Oh I don’t know, he sings in the shower. Sometimes he spends too much time volunteering. Occasionally he stabs someone to death. So sue him.

Gotta say the combination of Foucault's face and the defence of the man behind Nicole 12 is just *chef's kiss*

Yeah, altough the stabbing seemed to be in self-defence. I sincerely like Varg, even though I disagree with him in many aspects he managed to walk his talk and I admire him for that.

Living in the wild and forming a family like in the old ways. Lovable. A real life Captain Fantastic. Did he flirt with Neo-nazism and committed some stupid crimes? Yeah, and he spent time in jail reading and learning. He then focused on his own life and embraced the neo-primitive way of life. It's a good story in my book, way more interesting than most people's
@Johnny He does not advocate ethnic cleansing, his scheme seems to be focused on taking care of your homeland. Not that I completely agree on that but it's got some insteresting points tbh. Given the state of the world his ideas are utterly unnattainable in any case. I'm all for survival and I would move to another place on the planet if my chances for living depend on that.

Yeah, you got me. I got a Hitler poster in my basement and I pray to the SS every morning haha
PS: On a serious note.. No comments guys haha. I guess seeing Nazis everywhere is a byproduct of the current state of the affairs.

"sorry i am too blinded by the beam of varg's lustrously small carbon footprint to notice the mote of ethnic cleansing in his eye what a bother"
lmao basically. Varg is an antisocial and xenophobic piece of shit that happened to make some good music. I'll never see it another way tbh. Not that living close to nature in the woods is bad at all, but Varg didn't invent that either. I can't imagine the worldview of his children.

Sometimes i think about the zodiac killer just living off the fat of the land and think, "hell. what a story."
I bet Frost thinks the unabomber's actions were justified cause he was smart and living like Justin Timberlake on that one album

Nah I don't justify his actions at all Milo, but I do agree with him in many aspects. I wouldn't say "Varg is cool because he lives in nature", I just admire his way of living in this toxic world. Used to watch his videos on permaculture and stuff, the fact that he loves board games also helps haha. Does that mean I agree with him on everything he says? No, not at all. Not that it matters but I actually dislike the concept of nation (I'm not going to elaborate on why here becuase it would take a lot of time). I guess I am a syncretist and I love to take things from all sides of the spectrum, I've read Hitler, Kropotkin, Marx, Tolstoy.... All of them had interesting things to say in their historical frame. One of the reasons I dislike social networks discussions is precisely because it's imposible to see people's ideas without being confronted by someone who takes things ad hominem and immediately puts the scarecrow on you.
