I remember reading they did in fact do that teamster! Neige wrote the tracks whilst touring for Kodama, and he said

''these songs were written in a very spontaneous and cathartic way, very quickly for being me. Usually I spend a lot of time writing; I work a lot on the details. This time, though, everything was very rough and very spontaneous''

yap....definitely not focused on building that light vs dark thing they are known for. Perfectly fine by me. Neither those endless crescendos well known for the genre, which I find sometimes to be kinda annoying...just me tho. This fits me the right way.

Songs are beautiful...and there's cool riffing this time, in detriment for multi-details/instrumentation m/

Fabulous album as usual. The quality adds to the wholething but damn this is great. One of the best albums of the genre.

Is not Kodama but its solid and good, I really liked it, in fact my favourite songs are probably the two singles released before the album so I expected to like it from the begining.

Kodama and Ecailles are about equal to me. Both stunners. This is in third place currently. Voyages isn't far behind.

@DarkNoctus it is, but Ecailles, Souvenirs, Voyages, and this are all excellent. This might be my least favorite (not including Shelter) and it's still incredible.
