Kinda agree Jeet I enjoy the heavy hitters more than the moody stuff but it all rules. Please Say No actually works so well in context of the album with the footsteps at the end of Wave of Youth.

Ngl The Thread, Numb, Isn't it strange, and Switchblade are some of the best metalcore songs I've heard in the last few years. Album would be a 5 if it wasn't for Please Say No being arguably the worst thing this band has ever/will ever produce.

Check The Thread, Spiderhead or Switchblade for the heavy songs. If you want the moody stuff then try Isn’t it Strange, As Kids or Numb.

Not (yet) a big fan of Please Say No, but Chemical is awesome imo

Diamond Lost is pretty weaksauce. They should have replaced that track with Sour Breath.

That's definitely awful. That stood out to me as the worst but there's many of the songs that have me a cringe feeling from the lyrics or the awkward screams. Chemical isn't very good. Lines of Your Hands is probably the catchiest and I was disappointed with that song right away. The lyrics in the chorus (or the whole thing) must've been written in two minutes. It reminds me of my rhyming scheme that I used when I wrote songs at age 13.

As far as I know Jeremy does all the cleans. Mike can’t sing, dude can only scream and do the spoken word yelly stuff.

There's no way Dead Throne is worse than this. Their best songwriter was apart of that release. There isn't a single song on there that's worse than anything here. The instrumental song on that album is better than any of the instrumentation here. It's unbelievable the difference in quality.

Man a 1.5. That’s so harsh. The Thread and Spiderhead alone makes this better than a 1.5.

I'm just incredibly disappointed with this. Those two songs are okay I guess, but I can't help but get the feeling that this album might be more impressive if I never heard the band before but this all just sounds like the weakest thing they've ever done like they just learned how to write music and started a band, not close to the end of their long career.

Lol hard disagree with all of that. I’ve been a fan of this band since the first album and I still love this. If it’s it your thing then that’s fine but don’t make it sound like it’s not good writing or musicianship. The band is still talented, maybe this sound just isn’t your thing.
