So good. These guys are arguably on the top of their game right now, musically and live.

"spiders, hate them, love the song" [2]
And as of now I think this is my second favorite album of the year, right behind Devin Townsend's "Empath." Whitechapel, Ithaca, Tomb Mold and Full of Hell are behind there.
I'm very curious to see where Tool will land.

I listened to half of this and the electronics do work for them, and the production is much better than Vol 3. I’ve heard nothing from the last album and only the singles from hope so can’t compare. At this age though there’s just nothing for me in the mid paced groove riffs and nu metal vocals and that’s kind of the meat of the album. I think it’s always good to see an old band find a second wind, but I can’t see myself coming back to it. Would probably have loved this in 2003 though.
