well i mean this plays to the sput demographic super hard, this site is renowned for it's appreciation for skramz and shit beyond that of other music forums. still triple is somewhat surprising but not unheard of

Also, this isn't just adored because it's skramz. There's so much passion, substance, uniqueness and beauty attached to this thing. It puts so many generic sput skramz albums to shame.

I've been a bit out of touch but it seems like a decent year to me

I can tell these guys are going for something a bit deeper, what with all the repeating lyrical motifs and whatnot, I just wish it didn't all feel so abstract. The style of writing reminds me quite a bit of Rolo Tomassi, but I don't think the music here is quite able to crystallize the emotional throughline the way it did on Time Will Die. Either way, gonna need a few more listens to really let this sink in, it's clearly not the sort of album you can fully understand after one spin

I guess for some but this hit me like a sack of shit on first listen and even more on the second. Olive Tree and Planetary are godly.

Also some good hype around new He Is Legend, apparently it's Hollywood-esque.

We Never Learned to Live dropped perhaps the most out of nowhere fantastic album I've heard this year.
