This is way punchier than BN, very stacatto yknow. The t/t has such amazing twinkly melodies and it just is so soothing.

I think this meanders leas than BN. It has more drive, more momentum. That’s what makes it so palatable.

I prefer the meandering because it took their music in more interesting directions. Here the songs tend to out themselves as good or bad within the first minute.

I can relate to neek calling this middle of the pack for these guys and still giving it a 4. This album still might grow to a 3.5 or 3.7 or something for me and I view it as their worst album outright. What an amazing band.

Hahaha they're all 4s except Carnavas is an easy 4.5, this grew on me more than I thought from first listen!

This is a solid 3.8 for me, and yet I’d say it’s only better than BN. It could overtake NotW, but that’s probably the recency bias speaking. Love this band.
Hopefully they tour this album fully! I’d love to see them again.

Oh they’re lovely. Not the most dynamic stage presence you’ll ever see, but man do their songs translate well to the stage. Lazy Eye and Panic Switch were revelations.
