It's pretty great. Dylan Thomas, the opener, Big Black Heart, Cheapsake are standouts. Exception To The Rule is the only song I don't really like.

Sappy Goo Goo Dolls ballads mixed with naff Jimmy Eat World emo-sunshine pop punk basically, but usually even worse as often the bands used are 'third tier' in those respective...'genres'

It's a line in the sand cut off in a similar way to those born before or after social media. If you were born after you accept things as 'just the way things are'. Being 14 and yeah, there's this show, One Tree Hill you don't see the inherent evil and the natural defences built up over many hundreds of years of evolution are rendered powerless.

If Sowing never enjoyed an episode of One Tree Hill I'll eat my own fist.

Subliminally that tree on his profile always must have made me think ahhhhhh in the back of my mind.

Sowing-core sort of is OTH-core to me - ok it's a bit more than that but there's some overlap. Maybe I'll have to revise my initial comment to anyone born...after '85, that'd make someone 18 when it came out so should have known better but maybe?

Love that Sowing has his own "-core" now, lmfao

Album is obviously great but I'm having more trouble getting into it then I did with Stranger in the Alps or any of Bright Eyes' best albums. Still happy they put this together, though.

Chord progressions are so predictable and boring, it’s like they put no thought into this musically at all.

there’s not much here that is interesting or engaging to me, no reason or creativity with the duets. it’s a lettuce and mayo sub

Only question - who of the two is lettuce and who is mayo?

Oops, I hate to be the one to tell you this but I've only ever heard of the show. Never even seen one episode in my life (to be fair, I hardly watch TV or movies).

We apparently have lettuce and mayo, though, so I hope that helps!
