Hooo boy that scene is godly, one of the best choreographed fight scenes I have ever seen. Hell every single fight scene in both those movies is impeccable. And then magic struck again in Johnny Wick 3

Yeah the John Wick series is crazy, I love it

This is one of my favorite soundtracks of all time. Just so perfect and beautiful.

Yup, this is probably my favourite movie OST. Perfect background music for Blame! or Eden

Original Blade Runner soundtrack is the best, even if I slightly prefer this movie to that one.

"Didn't care for the Raid 2 tbh. Thought the first one was way better"
Funny I'm just seeing this comment after watching The Raid 2 a couple weeks ago. I like the first more too but 2 is amazing and has some really memorable characters.

I love The Raid 2, one of the best modern action movies. First one is great too.

Benjamin Wallfisch deserves a huge amount of credit for this score, because he developed a fair chunk of it alone whilst Zimmer was touring his own work. It’s also a great advertisement for analog synths.

Watched for the first time in years, on a giant TV with surround sound of course. Wasn’t doubting this but still one of the best movies in decades, not just sci-fi but in general. This score is integral to its success, along with the screenplay and visuals obvs.

"Visual fucking masterpiece. I think it runs a bit long at almost 3 hours but it's otherwise really solid"
2 and a half years on I've totally 180d on this, now I can't imagine BR2049 not being almost 3 hours lol. Haven't changed my opinion on this soundtrack tho

Overrated ass movie but still pretty good

Yeah for sure. Also I learned that Hanz Zimmer did the soundtrack for Crysis 2

There's a song on Crysis 2 that I swear is a rip off from Attack on Titan

Watching this in IMAX was something else. I hadn’t seen any of the trailers and because the marketing was pretty damn poor, I knew little to nothing about the plot. It ended up being one of the best if not the best cinematic experiences I’ve had. Mesa and Sea Wall were incredible on that huge system.

This movie is just awesome. love how avant gard it is with some of the "Stalker" esque quiet scenes like k discovering the horse in the furnace. The last 20 or 30 mins of this movie are just mind-blowing. and seawall gives me chills on this soundtrack.
The movie is also laden with symbolism that is really interesting to unpack. black cube of saturn occult references and one eye occult symbolism everywhere(k taking sappers eye, the giant statue head with one eye, etc)
