Aaaah wait, now that I looked it up. So Jumbo Jet happened before the indie pop duo, and actually her husband was in the band too, they left, formed Sea + Air and then they did a reunion tour for JJ last year. Gonna rewrite part of the review to adjust this info. Thanks dude.

really nice finds TKS X) though I never thought her vocals were novice. Really thought was her actual style and I fuckin love them. More grungy than Rolo's chick f.e. (not that I don't find Rolo's amazing as well)...in fact more in line with tDEP's screaming, or some times Oathbreaker's.

yeah this 3 and less ratings coming out of nowhere or with only one listen (if you're slow like me it may happen)...this is clearly above portrayal and arguably rolo...but noone can speak anything bad about Rolo on sput lol (which I dig too so don't hurt me plse)

but yeah...maybe I'm stuck in the 90's too, I give you that...I just don't remember anything similar to this back then...so ultimately could be 90's revivalist, which would be way different than nostalgic or "being stuck"...

Don't really understand the consistent comparisons between these and Rolo Tomassi beyond the obvious. Rolo Tomassi were, at least to me, just Iwrestledabearonce for the hipster hardcore crowd and the boring cunts who wanted to get signed to holy roar. Didnt even know Rolo Tomassi were still a thing tbf. I saw them a few times back in the day being on the same bill as them with an old old band. Always thought they were dog shite live.
