Yeah its pretty great but its definitely not one of my favorite core releases of last year. Id say Cassus, Taken, SYSC/SGKF, The Armed and others from last year were better than this.



But still this ones not bad at all.

SYSC on that split were at their most musically interesting plus SGKF actually got a little bit more diverse by adding in more sampling and did a bit more with their giant wall of sound than they did on anything else theyve done.

nice recs, haven't heard Cassus or Taken, but will check. Seeyouspacecowboy and Wristmeetrazor are both dope, so if they're anything like that will def dig m/

Taken are similar to bands like hopesfall, Misery Signals, Beloved etc. they were a very unfortunately obscure and unsuccessful band but they actually managed to reform out of the blue and released a great EP last year.



Cassus are def worth checking out if you like a lot of the modern Screamo bands with heavy usage of messy whiny clean vox.

Both sound right up my alley lol

I thought Mouthbreather were pretty average. Dont remember much at all from it. If were gonna talk about brutal Metalcore I think Pressure by Bloodbather is better along with No One Gets Out Alive by Roseblood.
