I swear to God I posted something about reading the allmusic review and being more enthusiastic about listening the album when they compared it to black holes

"The Dark Side" and "Break It to Me" are beginning to emerge as highlights for me

Also, the more I look at that album cover, the more I love it for how ridiculous it is

Also also, "Break It to Me" transitions surprisingly well into "Someday I Will Treat You Good" by Sparklehorse

Sorry totally disagree with a lot of your review. Muse is still one of the best live bands going around. I've been a fan since the first album, seen them live seven times, from the beginning at Aberdeen Music Hall, to a small venue in Vancouver, to Rogers Arena in Vancouver.

They never disappoint, one of the hardest working bands in the world today. This album is excellent(and the bonus tracks are not fillers either) You folks that hark back to the old days, well it's gone, forget it, bands move on and evolve. Every one of Muse's albums have been different, and you know what I'm ok with that.

And as for your comment on the last track. That made me laugh even more, you are trying to be controversial and failing miserably.

You're more than welcome to enjoy this as well as their other recent works, and I'm glad that you do. I still check out every single one of their albums partially out of respect and partially because I still do enjoy their music. It's catchy and at times well composed. The problem is that they've strayed so far from any semblance of being a rock band that they lost what made them appealing to me in the first place. At one time they demonstrated instrumental mastery - the gorgeous classical piano flourishes on Butterflies and Hurricanes, or the insane riff from Citizen Erased - but now they're a shell of their former selves technically speaking, and they pretty much resort to computerized beats and studio magic exclusively. I'm not obliged to enjoy their new style of music, and I don't think it's becoming to come to a new community and lambast someone for having an opinion that you disagree with. Also I'm not trying to be controversial in any way. The song is boring, that's my take and I'm sticking to it. Like I said, I'm glad you like their new direction. I found plenty of good things to say about it in my review so maybe you should skim it again and we can talk about how cool Propaganda and Break it to Me are.

Algorithm, The Dark Side, Pressure, Break It To Me, Blockades, Propaganda and The Void are all great tracks. I've been enjoying this quite a lot over the past 3 days.

Sowing's response to the fanboy/troll was incredibly graceful and composed.

Why the hell are some people riding this album so hard? It's like this album's the cornerstone of polarization.
