If they did more colourful stuff like God=Dog I would have 5'd it. But the rest of it is Satanist part 2. I'm just glad Satanist wasn't a pure fluke! At least Nergal is maintaining the quality if not exceeding it.

I'm still not entirely sure how this compares to The Satanist but it's definitely better than every other album by them. Also the artwork is really cool.

I'd say it's their second best album easily but I'm not too hot on their earlier output.

I never got into Demigod or Evangelion other than a few tracks. I've followed Nergal for many years and I think he finally found an organic sound on these last 2 records, god bless him.

I agree with this 1000%. His double tracked vocals I always found to be awful. They were "brutal" but lacked any depth. He sounds way more emotive and raw now. His voice can be brutal and then a whole range of other things in addition to that. I really like it.

Yeah there was 0 emotion in the music/vocals back then, nowadays he's wearing his heart on his sleeve probably due to dealing with leukemia and being persecuted by the Polish government. Plus his voice sounds incredible on its own, the double-tracked stuff was such overkill.
