Jammed again. I take no issues with the production. Just can't really get into this very much.

Time has been really kind to this album in my opinion, still consistently jam it and like it more every day. Concrete Beast and Trap Door Man are still duds though.

I jammed this again today, so much fun.
Only song I dislike is Concrete Beast, mainly cos of the awful vocal feature.
Also, Army of Cops is still such a banger.

Yeah Concrete Beast is a ahrd stinker. I don't care for this nearly as much as their grindier stuff. Excited for that new EP though m/

Apparently the title track leaked like 6 years ago LOL. Never knew this existed until recently.

Yeah they've been out for a while, with rougher production.
That and the Cavalry were used during an Adult Swim session thing.

so is this album actually bad or are Metal Fans^TM just being babies againw? because while i've only listened to one track here (Army of Cops) that one track was fucking sick.
|

It's fine, it's just solidly below the high standards they set with their first few. If you're into chunky, sludgy metalcore there are definitely worse places to get your fix.

there's not a lot that im getting out of this or Book Burner, really just lacking that oomph and riffs. sludgy direction is really lackluster
at least I can go back to the boobs album and jam

Yeah, this had some solid tunes, but their edge has just been dulling as the time passes.

I really like this album tbh, took a lot of time to grow on me as much as it did. Production is a bit plastic, but that's what speakers are for and the vocal performance here is JR's best for me along with Terrifyer.
