I was really bored listening to this album. I just didn't enjoy it at all. It's probably just me though.

It's probably just not your thing. The musicianship is really tight. Great vocals too.
Usually I view it as a good thing when a band "goes heavier", but Underoath would be well served to return to the AFI style sample and synth tinged screamo of their last album. That album was catchy and energetic as ****, but this just kind of drags along like an inferior Misery Signals.
#1. Underoath's first album is their heaviest.
#2. They're Only Chasing Safety isn't screamo.
#3. This album sounds nothing like Misery Signals, that band sucks
#4. It does however sound like a less good version of Spencer's old band, This Runs ThroughThis Message Edited On 11.10.07

I found myself getting this album right after release with the DVD combo while I was on the road. I couldn't help but watch the DVD numerous times and I found myself listening to this album over and over. It was just so amazing. IT had the perfect blend of screaming and hard parts with catchy singing that I could sing a long too. This album shows what screamo/metalcore/post-hardcore is really about, what ever you want to label it, in my case I label it "good."

Not the kind of band I usually listen to, but this album is damn good. Moving for the Sake of Motion is the best song btw. (imo :p)This Message Edited On 12.13.07

In Regards To Myself is a great song. I really have no interest in anything else on this.

Some of the songs are kind of stagnant, but I think overall, this was an awesome progression in Underoath's style, it's like This Runs Through is back.

wait, planewreq.... 7A7P is terrible, yet something that's so clearly influenced by 7A7P is a 4?

In Regards to Myself, You're Ever So Inviting, Returning Empty Handed, Casting Such a Thin Shadow, Moving for Sake of Motion and Writing on the Walls are all sick.
