I love the production of P1 honestly, sounds so gritty and rough, suites the music perfectly imo

A 1.5 is extreme and overwhelmingly negative for almost anything

P1 sounds superfake to me, the snare just annoys the crap out of me... Sounds really overproduced for no reason

@0guyman0: the rating is relative to what they are capable of as seen in the 2005-2011 era regardless of how well-constructed it is, which, sure, it's well constructed. but this double album is just cheesy campy prog rock: lame lyrics, lamer concept with catchy choruses and distracting shiny soundscapes to cover it up, furthermore, i don't give a shit about your opinion

Sadly, I just can't see myself enjoying the direction this band has taken over the years as each one has been a hot mess of scrambled ideas imo.

Try making it through Voice of Trespass. Keep in mind too, I've been a pretty big fan up until Coma Ecliptic

The big problem with Voice of Trespass is that their vocalist isn't good enough to pull a track in that style off. They just sound like a crap The Dear Hunter.

Tommy's vocals have been steadily going downhill with each album and his cleans just sound atrocious now. It's almost comical at this point and grates anything they do now

Sun Of Nothing Ants Of The Sky combo is probably my favorite BTBAM moment(s)

I think his vocals haven't really changed or anything, this kind of production just makes them sound how they really are... They honestly sound pretty good when they are buried in a mix like on the previous records, but since Coma they have become the forefront and he's just not good enough of a vocalist to pull that off. Also, his vocal lines aren't great and he uses way too many harmonizations to make it sound nicer, while that only makes it worse
