Do like this but the Captain We're Sinking album referred to above feels like a more convincing, hard-hitting catalogue of despair

Can see where Adolf is coming from

Yeah i mean, im fine with some wallowing, many of my favorite albums are all about that. but for example on the last song, "your room will always be a mess, youll always be depressed, wahh wahh wahh" its like ugh. He seems to feel so sorry for himself and hes so determined to keep lying in his own shit that it comes off as a little pathetic.

I think that's kind of the point though. He is pathetic. I don't think you're supposed to relate - more like an emo zoo - point and laugh (even if that in itself is kind of annoying wallowing in his part)

Favorite band of that one person you went to high school with who still listens to pop-punk, but has also been divorced

Solid hooks and memorable bridges on just about every song. Lots of energy. Relateable/honest lyrics for sad bois. It's pretty obvious imo. Definitely not doing anything new—rather doing something familiar really well. But sure, not for everyone.

hey guys, get on Forests - Spending Eternity In A Japanese Convenience Store and Retirement Party - Somewhat Literate. those deserve attention much more than this does imo.
