Their cover of Simple Man wasn't that bad. You can tell there was some passion behind it. Every guitarist has learned the song. This one sounds like they wanted to do it instead of "let's record ourselves warming up."

I got what he meant to a degree. The rapping verses (as much as we can call it 'rapping') have sort of an authoritative boom, which makes the song sound more important, i.e. urgent.
