@MusicinaBox I've listened to their two new singles and I am impressed. They both seem influenced by Norma Jean's Polar Similar and a bit of Nine Inch Nails. To me, Underoath pretty much always drop 4-4.5 tier albums. Combine the two and I am excited as fuck.

Yeah this was pretty damn impressive, some clear ETID vibes but they don't quite meet the mark vocally. There's not as much success in the clean hooks and choruses department as there is in the screamed sections. The vocalist doesn't always exude the vocal confidence in his cleans that I feel he has the potential for imo. Otherwise the screams, instrumentals and overall energy is there. Maybe the cleans will prove me wrong after repeat listens.

Really? I thought the cleans were outstanding, especially in tracks like Blemish and Day Is Gone. But I'm glad you liked it a lot, this may be my current AOTY

I like the cleans...i think in fact are the cleans (among with other details) that make them a different band than ETID, providing some grungy late Poison The Well feeling...is that amazing mixture that is making love this album...otherwise would be ETID copycats

oh yeah I'm not knocking the vocals im just not wowed yet I guess, I definitely like them though. I do appreciate they have their uniqueness that separates them from being ETID copycats.

Yeah, I'm only 3 tracks in and I'm already in love. This album is something special for sure. Can't believe these guys just came out of nowhere.

Edit: Just finished it, yeah this is an easy 4.5 already.
