Strongly disagree. Supercharger is filled with poor songs, I'd pick Bulldozer and Only the names as standout tracks.

This one has a good run between Hope Begets Hope and Heavy Lies the Crown.

New single, Become The Firestorm, is a lot better than anything off this.

Become The Firestorm is easily the best track they've done in years

honestly, all three of those tracks are great imo

Took me till recently to try this after the mixed reviews. But fuck me there's actually plenty of tunes here. Dude took a risk and he avoided another straight up and down MH album. Boring it ain't!

Sorry, but this album still sucks and blows all at once. The upcoming album does sound promising, though.

I just checked the title track off this and I seriously cannot believe how embarrassingly awful this sounds. Course youtube comments call it innovative and the best song they've written. Never fail to disappoint with their garbage.

Prob the best metal album of 2018. Bastards strong contender for song of the year.

Only songs I can consider "good" and even still it's kind of a stretch are Beyond the Pale and Behind the Mask. Bastards, Title track, and Triple Beam are so unbelievably cringe. I think what also makes this album so excruciating is they subject us to over an hour of this shit

It's definitely too long

there exists a lot of cringe in the wokeness, and even as a political leftie it sorta sucks most of the time

also; "bastards" is hands down the worst song here for being like "liberation" then using slurs with no pretext or reason to do so. rob youre a cishet white man you cant use the n and the fg word

theres better ways of getting the ideas across but 2018 to 2019/2020 was a politically cringe time for MH, especially since he said MEMES in Do or Die (which lmao actually got me into Dope)

I just think it's cringe because instrumentally it's fucking atrocious as is the delivery. The lyrics are terrible as well but it's far from the only problem.

the blackening is prolly the most overrated piece of shite of 2000's metal

THANK GOD SOMEONE WHO AGREES

The blackening is so fucking long and hard appreciate. Like the first 2 records were pretty consistently good and then whatever comes next has a more inconsistent mix of good/bad

They peaked on uhhhhhh The More Things Change

Riffs, vocal harmonies, varied songs, Robb angry as a motherfuck. Yeah they’re very similar
