They released the instrumental versions of their albums and this one is nice. Also I continue to still come back to this album regardless, so I think it is somehow only getting better with time.

Album is good btw. A little too much filler here and there, but tracks like DIVISI are banger

Franzino is to blame because he's the one who was mad his shitty solo album didn't sell good, had Cory take vocal lessons, and didn't tell Kurt what was going on until they sent him the demos.

Just listened to a Cory interview this morning and while I agree with what you are saying, it sounds like Cory decided to take vocal lessons as a result of fearing being left behind with Franzino's new direction (no screaming). Regardless, sad this group fell apart.

It seems that most of the band (or at least both Kurt and Cory) would have been content continuing in a similar post-hardcore direction after No Place, but that Franzino (and possibly other members) wanted to make a big sound shift. Kurt said hell no, Cory played along, Cory ended up not totally feeling the new direction (but did say he was really proud of this album and loved the opportunity to really expand on his vocals!) and ended up wanting to leave. With no singers the band decided to throw in the towel. Cory did say he encouraged the members to continue on and have their bass player take up vocal responsibilities.

Bass player Matt was also a pretty decent singer. And just for the sake of it: It was really cool to hear Cory sing
