anyone else find it amusing how there are so many people who seem to genuinely enjoy the stuff which they're fed on the radio; who buy the merch, the albums ,the concert tickets etc but don't take it upon themselves to foray deeper into music beyond the big names?

some people just aren't inclined to dive into music. i've been a music nerd as long as i can remember so it doesn't make sense to me but i kind of think it just doesn't affect some people on the same deep level as others and therefore they aren't as motivated to get into it and explore a bit
or that could be a bunch of bs i duno
theres some good popular music though, its the minority of it but theres some, and drizzy is one of the more consistently good pop artists, he doesnt go full watered down commercialism style like say the weeknd did
