Production is polished but these riffs are so good it doesn't even matter.

Ye, far more interesting than Kingdom.

sweet, i'll check this out then. haven't enjoyed immolation in a while but damn they used to be good. majesty was pretty sick when it came out, but i still like their earlier stuff more i think

Majesty is pretty easy to throw on compared to their more twisted records, even if those aforementioned records are better.

yeah their last one wasn't very good. this is great. and yeah production needs more kick, it's pretty hollow. not that the writing isn't sweet

The drums are dialled up to 11 and never really feel dynamic in the mix, great performance tho.

yeah I've never been great at putting my finger on specifics of production, but I can say that the drums sound pretty stale to me, solid performance aside

"Not even God can save you now!"

This album is amazing! It's completely surpassed all positive conceptions I had of this album when I pre-ordered it. It's easily as good as "Majesty & Decay" and some of the best songwriting, playing, and production I've ever heard from any death metal album. Shalatay's drums are actually 100% noticeable for the first time, he's a great drummer. Robert Vigna continues to top himself.

That drum/guitar intro to "Fostering the Divide!" Heavy metal bliss! Turn it up with a good subwoofer, it never gets old.
