Defenitily! A lotta people on here seemed to like Waking The Fallen the most on here. Always thought that sounded like amateur hour compared to their later stuff. My opinion is totally biased because I can't stand metalcore, but cheers! lol. That 4 titan it's all on you man haha

waking has a lot of outstanding writing but the production is extremely poor and shadows' harsh vocals are really bad

calling it now, they will tour with metallica.....i notice that each of their current runs both finish up at the end of March

Shadows's cleans on that album are better than any other a7x tho

Jeff nailed it again, Waken is amateur hour compared to what they blossomed in to today.....don't care for metalcore either

but we are old fucks

Disagree so hard. It lacks in bass guitar but overall it's their best sounding record to me, after StSt

Not unlike most a7x records

it's definitely their worst sounding record; the dynamics are as crushed as sounding and city but with easily the worst mix of the three. it's actually a jarring contrast with the rest of their discog on quality headphones

That opening guitar bit with the drums on the stage is damn good. Fuck, this is going to be better than the new Metallica huh? Lol

what a coincidence that 2 members of a damn fine previous band are now members of metallica and these guys, respectively

StSt has a decent amount (and a different bassist... mmmmh). The others are often lacking indeed

Eh I do have good headphones and for me it's definitely not the worst. Then again I've been listening to the vinyl (the rip is DR11 for what it's worth) for a long while so I don't remember how bad the CD is. Also add the fact that modern productions like Nightmare's generally leave me indifferent

I like this album btw, quite a lot actually even if it gets tedious too fast. The mix is kinda gross though, but props for being crankable

Agreed. Now if only they could make a tight 45-50 minutes album...
