what the hell this is pretty good.... I was not a day1 fan of these guys, so I don't worship that other album. arpeggios for days

like sure it isnt lp1 or lp3 (or the ep for that matter), but it is tug-at-the-heartstrings-core in the vein of the better owen records and i can't say no to that

This actually is a really solid album. I remember only liking a couple singes at first, but once I sat down with it years later. I gave it another chance. I liked the perspective of it and how they made a new album because I guess Owen was getting more popular? I uploaded some of their songs to YouTube in the late 2000s because I thought it could be fun to do with music not on there much.

Four tracks in, sounds kind of like Anberlin without an ounce of energy. I don't think I'm in the mood for this.

Not my thing. Bummer. My Instincts are the Enemy is good though.

"My Instincts are the Enemy" is one of the best singles and the video is incredible. "Home is Where the Haunt is", is super great too. I know when this first came out, I was like well those two singles ruled. But I hadn't spent time with the album.

Listening to the back end of it, and it's great. I need a drink or two and then desire get in the way are amazing.
