the crazy thing is that the s/t is probably my 2nd least favorite, now in front of this one i guess. kurt was fine but not spectacular and many of the songs were forgettable. then mess quits and in like a year they put out happiness which is somehow their most cohesive sounding album ever, and kurt is on fire

s/t is fine, would've been a lot better if they'd cut like three tracks cos it's long as fuck but it has some of my favourite DGD stuff. but yeah they pulled out all the stops for Happiness and it was just perfect

don't get me wrong I love me some Happiness, lack of Mess zingers hurts and the first four tracks are by far the best except for maybe Swisher 2.

not enough riffs

I'm a pretty big fan of the tillian Era and I may be in the minority but acceptance speech is my favorite DGD record but I must agree . I have listened to this record three times through and it just dosnt click for me . It just sounds bland to me with very few redeeming qualities IMO .
