I'm up to 'Strange brew' and the forlorn hope that this would be good has been progressively crushed. the riffs are generally pathetic but there are still some gold moments sprinkled here and there. Really disappointing though

I've yet to hear Sorceress, but tbh, I think this will be one of Opeth's weakest albums. And this is coming from someone who actually really enjoyed Pale Communion.

Opeth is one of those bands I respect enough to run through their entire discography... But I'm still stuck at like, Damnation. Definitely afraid to touch Heritage and beyond. Big fan as always Malachite
