Yep 1700. The hype for it is huge too, but I won't lie it does look like an amazing device. The young me would have put a down payment or already but I plan to wait until it's release in Nov and see what normal Youtubers have to say about it.

So it's either the Cortex, or I get the new FM3 from Fractal.

I saw some Gear Gods thing with trey at Namm and it looked pretty sick. I wonder if it comes with all the neural dsp archetypes and all that. I honestly don't know a whole lot about it, but if Neural DSP is making it, it's probably going to blow most of its competitors out of the water.

I think it will too, I don't see anything like it on the market right now and if we're just talking about design and looks and functionability, then it's way ahead of everyone else. Even the FM3 looks dated and that thing came out a week ago.

I doubt it will have the exact archetypes on the hardware, but as long as it can do cleans to modern metal and everything in between and sound as good as a Fractal, I am satisfied. I don't like relying on sound demos from artists and the manufacturer because you know they meticulously created those tones to make a buck. I'd rather have a regular Joe like me show it off in his bedroom and go through the sounds and functions and shit.

hesitating to 4.5 smh, this is a god tier album, probably best in the genre, and I like to call it progressive fusion, mix of prog metal and jazz fusion

Plini > that for sure

I didn't even notice the rip off tbf, because I barely payed attention, because the instruments are so buried in the mix except for the drums
