The production is flat? Get some better gear, bro. The 24-bit version on HDTracks is especially fantastic sounding. The only real difference in production compared to their debut is that this is cleaner, more well-balanced tonally, and the vocals are set back farther in the mix, which makes it so much easier to hear the whole package.
"Need More Input" is amazing. I've played trumpet for 17 years and that solo still sent my jaw to the floor.
And I really don't get the hate for the vocals. I've heard lots of complaints, but nobody seems to be able to explain -why- they are bad.

Certain vocalists just get hate on here for no apparent reason. The guy from The Ocean gets shit on like crazy on Sput and yet nobody has ever coherently explained why.

i don't really get the hate for the vocalist either tbh. it'd be one thing if we were talking about like, trophy scars or something. the vocalist for this band sounds pretty normal, there's nothing unusual about how he sings or anything.
