but, yeah, more seriously, some people never fully develop mentally, and as such, usually spend their days listening to aesop rock and kendrick lamar.

What's wrong with Aesop Rock and Kendrick Lamar? Haha. I will say, if that's all you listen to, there's something wrong there.

"Haha. It's a shame. I mean, I used to be like that too, but I was in 10th grade with somewhat of an elitist attitude. It's got to change at some point though."

Hahaha. That's what I was though. I was open-minded to different types of people, but I lacked it in a lot of other areas.

Me and my Dad used to joke about what we thought was Heavy Metal(which was what we called anything with screaming back then). I never thought I would like it, man did that change. Now, I hate it when people say they can't stand Metal because they can't understand what they're saying. XD

this album is actually pretty legit. about 8 really solid songs on here. here are my favs in no particular order:
THat Part, Groovy Tony, Ride Out, WHatever U Want, By Any Means, JoHn Muir, Str8 Ballin
Blank Face and Tookie II are growing on me too
still hate Dope Dealer and Big Body and I think TorcH is kind of an underwhelming opener

dope dealer rules, big body sucks, i actually think torch grew on me a lot, its kind of a whacky but really impacting track production wise
black thoughts is absolutely immaculate, q has such a nice presence on the track and handles it in almost an aggressive but minimal fashion
that could be my fave q track the beat/hook is just gorgeous

Black Thoughts is good too yeah and def growing on me. Ride Out has my favorite feature (Vince Staples kills it, he always is fantastic on features man).
this is prob a 3.5/4 for me but I'll put it at a 3.5 for right now

im not a vince staples fan but he was a good feature fore that track
this album is still too long, and regardless of the fact that q is very unique/holds presence on nearly every track and gets showered with excellent production, hes not necessarily a skilled verse by verse lyricist/rapper
but honestly he makes too many bangers out of dope beats, has a very unique way of approaching verses and hes very good at hooks. Id honestly give this album a 4 if not for the handful of complete throwaway tracks

Yeah this album is like 4 songs too long agreed.

I wouldn't change anything about the album, though it's not perfect. I don't like Big Body all that much, but that's pretty much it for me. Also, Overtime is placed very awkwardly.
