This review is like one of those exhibits at a modern art museum where someone drank paint and threw up on a canvas and everyone is there jeering like "what is this shit?" unknowingly playing into the artist's hands and giving them exactly what they want.

I heard the average amount of time a person looks at an art exhibit is something like 8 seconds,which is about the same amount of time before I lose interest in a typical review here, but I read this whole review and this whole god damn thread. what's frustrating is you just know A Certain Crowd is havin a good ol wank to the idea of people taking this review (and, really, sput as a whole) seriously

like if there's anything more frustrating to me than misplaced enthusiasm and anger it's the response of "lmao" to that misplaced enthusiasm and anger

this is not @anyone in particular but like if people are gonna be frustrated by a flagged review system interplaying with what is imo a pretty fun to read if Not Default Review Quality review then let them be frustrated for god's sake. it makes people take reviewing more seriously and the #content writers for this site produce more seriously, and i think that is a good thing. and if you're at the point where you think reviewing in general is dumb, especially on a large/mass-produced scale (as I know a lot of us are), then bully for you, but not all of us are at that same point of jadedness and frustration yet

Review is brill, made me laugh a lot, but it does also bring up a lot of points that I agree with. I think I might have to re-listen to Gore and reconsider my rating. I rated it after I listened to it a second time, and I'm starting to feel my rating was more out of blind loyalty to the band rather than an honest opinion on the album
