IMO the first disc is much stronger than than the second. Hunt The Buffalo, Ruiner, and Beast Whip all rip hard.

take those three and elephant graveyard, final will and siege and you have one awesome 50-minute album



edit: on a second thought, scratch that, bad idea (because of the missing interludes, album flow etc). I have to say I prefer the 2nd disc

album is strong 4.5 to me, it takes digesting and listening to each track individually before it can be digested as a whole. Hunt The Buffalo and Ruiner are hard 5/5 songs.



I think if they had a few shorter tracks in throughout that were full songs not just buildups or interludes it would be greatly to the album's favour.



Siege is cool but a shitty closer, it would have been better off being earlier in the album like after Elephant Graveyard.

Yeah Xeno Last Tape is pretty much the best funeral doom I've ever heard. Not my genre usually but it's so immediately engaging unlike some other funeral doom I've heard.
