No I know, and as I put a little earlier I don't want to just flat out defend my viewpoint - I just thought this was an awful record.
I'm not trying to discredit something purely for a response, and I'm definitely not trying to make any kind of social commentary as seems to have been implied. If people don't like what I've written that's naturally their call, I just didn't think there was precedent to neg based on difference of opinion.
I'm more confused than bitter!

Calling this a 1 is being really harsh imo. It's not fantastic, and even pretty (sorry, VERY) annoying at times, but it's still pretty unique, especially for someone as basic as Charli XCX. I generally don't like any of Charli's stuff but some of Sophie's beats here are pretty twisted and hard-hitting, and that juxtaposes Charli's diabetic-shock-inducing vocals to pretty good effect at points.
