I don't think anyone who has listened to this record would ever call it sludge. It's basically just hook-laden pop rock.

its true. like i said they were at their sludgiest on first and second ep and unpersons split but red album and blue record were pretty much a post metal, progressive, and stoner rock hybrid with a little sludge influence. i think the correct term is 'georgian sludge', u know, that genre thats not actually sludge where all the bands sound the same and rip each other off like black tusk baroness kylesa and mastodon.
