"I feel like they'll either break up or come back with something insanely epic. That's what happened with Viva La Vida after the disappointing X&Y."

You're so positive. I think they'll continue to milk the brand until it's dry with increasingly worthless music.

Pretty good album. Enjoying most of the songs on here. Just wish there was one or two real standout tracks, like the rest of their albums have. Think it'll work much better live though too, so can't wait for their show.

Nobody has mentioned 'Fun' yet, which I was surprised by. Think it's a really nice track and Tove Lo's voice works well with Martin's IMO.

Still early, but I think this is definitely better than X&Y and probs MX too.

Viva>GS=Rush of Blood>Parachutes>AHFOD>MX>X&Y

I'll probably end up reviewing this as I feel that the record deserves a slightly more nuanced overview, but I think I'll hold off for the time being to let my thoughts stew for a bit. Also I really want Radical to keep his feature as it's definitely well-deserved.

Keep up the good work mate.

Adventure of a Lifetime sounds like Maroon 5, except the vocals are worse.

I'd like to think i was a bit fairer than that Bieber review. Also Thx Irving, happy about the feature.

I wrote my review before I saw anyone else's or the overall rating, and I thought I was being a little harsh on it - weird feeling like I'm the most optimistic!

Really nice review man, every criticism is fair, and the pointed style of writing really suits it.

Pos'd.

I live in the UK, Coldplay is like the new Radiohead over here. Turn on the radio and this shitty album will be playing. It sucks. Coldplay lost the plot after Mylo Xyloto (I enjoyed that album tbh)

'Coldplay is like the new Radiohead'

'new'

Coldplay have been a band almost two decades, and have seen considerably huge success for fifteen years. How are they 'new'?

Yeah I don't get that. They also have been waaaaaaaay more commercially successful than Radiohead for the longest part of their career.
