ok, feedback:
"It’s rather difficult to really describe"
- be careful with these degree adverbs. when you use them in close succession it sounds like you're just adding them for the sake of it. in this case, you could say it's "difficult to really describe" (which I'm assuming means it's hard to "reallllllllly" describe) and you probably don't need the "rather. this is a super nitpicky thing to point out but it's one extra little thing to take note of. sometimes you can use those extra adverbs for "effect" but sometimes they just aren't necessary.
"music so appealing; a Seattle, Washington-based drone metal duo"
- the semicolon doesn't work here, because A) it doesn't serve to "break up a list where extra commas would make things confusing", and B) the clause on the right isn't a complete sentence. ALSO, a full colon wouldn't work because it sounds like you're about to elaborate on the music, but then you end up defining the band. this could all be sorted by writing the second bit as:
"the Seattle, Washington-based drone metal duo's material largely consists of sluggish, feedback-driven riffery and dragged-out, distorted guitar tunage with no semblance of melody nor rhythm." - really minor change, but it fixes the issue.
"Simply putting it, Sunn O))) is a typical drone metal band"
- you already called them a drone metal band in the last sentence. pretty redundant.

[...cont'd]
"drone metal genre – the compositions lack any interesting moments"
- in this case, a full colon would probably be perfect, instead of the dash.
"Kannon as a whole can be seen as one big composition, the final movement of the three tracks actually shows some variation by not using the same rehashed riffs for ten minutes and having vocals that don’t sound similar to a middle-aged chain-smoker."
- comma splice.
" having vocals that don’t sound similar to a middle-aged chain-smoker. Okay, so I lied about that last bit. But I digress. "
- a couple beefs with this 1) don't describe something then "change your mind". it's pointless. and B) you "digress"? how? you're still describing the album at hand, which is the main focus of the review.
"sound that differs from such efforts"
- it would make sense to do a quick comparison to the other efforts you're describing. maybe some people haven't heard those other efforts, and might be wondering, "hmmm, I wonder if I'll like those instead?" you could briefly touch on them with like a couple words and it'll hammer that point home.
"That couldn't hurt, right?"
- I kinda hate snarky ending statements like this.

decided to harder on you bcuz idk just bcuz

Usually dig these guys but I have no idea what the hell was the deal with this one. It's like they threw out everything that made their music work on the first place. Colossal letdown after Monoliths & Dimensions.

I agree with the reviewer who gave this a 5 rating. That reviewer seemed very logical and more pensive than you.
