Shut the fuck up about Mencia. All of his jokes come from badly formed stereotypes, and besides that he's just annoying.

i find chappelle actually has some funny half-truths in his show, hes obviously more intelligent than "du du daa"

The solo's are great, but this album's way overrated. before the album came out, they said it would be their funkiest, but the majority of the songs are too soft.

I dislike this album.



I've been a Chilies fan since I started listening to music and now own all their albums which I’ve all enjoyed a great deal.



But this album just annoys me, it sounds like a cross between By the Way and Blood Sugar Sex Magic.



Which would be a good thing except:



It is minus the musical depth and layers that were present in By the Way and the funkiness that makes bloody sugar such fun to listen to.



Also with an annoying bass tone.



It just seems to lack the energy of their pervious releases. It reminds me of Pink Floyd’s album A Momentary Lapse of reason. It was their first album after roger waters left you could tell, it sounds like Pink Floyd on auto pilot I get the same feeling from this album and given that the Chili Peppers haven’t lost any band members that’s kind of worrying.



The album is far from being bad but when compared to every one of their other releases it doesn’t compare by a long shot.

i saw rhcp live at lollapalooza last year and it was simply amazing.
