No it doesn't. For example, if I don't like jazz (which I kinda do, this is just an example), that doesn't mean I blindly go around giving 2's, 1.5's, and 1's to every Charles Mingus and Miles Davis album on Sputnik. Nor does it mean that someone else that 5's a John Coltrane album has bad taste.

neither do i, i just rate what i've heard, and not even all of what i've heard. this is the only iron maiden album i've rated, but i've heard many more. u should do your research before you get all butthurt about someones ratings while simultaneously trying to defend everyones right to rate however they like

but yeah like man ive heard pretty much iron maidens entire discog as well as fucking bands like iced earth and metallica and megadeth and all that garbage but i barely have any of their albums rated and even if i did have them rated it would still be warranted, its not like i havent heard them, i just dont like them.
