if you didn't think too highly of this then i sincerely doubt you'll like thank your lucky stars, sowing. just sayin', this explores their more spaced out, minimal approach to music than this. there might be songs you connect with though, like majorette, all your yeahs, and elegy to the void - those all feature some good hooks and cool ideas.
bloom is my favorite beach house album, which sort of stands in sharp contrast to this and thank your, being more pop-oriented and losing a bit of their dreaminess, but i love this style almost equally. when i put this and their newest on i kind of lose myself. it's hypnotizing

yeah, although beach house claims they're not meant to be companion albums, they really do seem like it. thank your lucky stars definitely does sound different in tone and atmosphere, but it still retains beach house's dna
