This definitely should have been a one disc, sixteen to eighteen song album. The music just seems bland and at points very dull. But hell what do I know, my favorite Peppers stuff is the debut through BSSM.

The odd thing is that I seem to really love most RHCP albums when they are first released and then grow tired of them over time. This happened with By the Way and Californication so maybe this will grow on me.

"Jupiter" needed a lot of attentive listening before I could actually tolerate it, but I still don't like it much. "Mars" on the other hand blows me away. "Jupiter" is a 3, "Mars" is either a 4, or 4.5, balancing to a 3.5.

Just a random fact but did anyone know that jupiter has such a low density that it could float in water.

I'm assuming he was banned for that obnoxious comment and several others that he most likely made. But I too, kind of wish he wasn't band. Stupid people are fun because you can make fun of them all day long and it never gets boring.

For classic skarox moments, see Eliminator Jr's review of And Justice for All by Metallica.

Hmmm, it seems that Jupiter and Mars are pretty even for me at the moment. This Message Edited On 05.10.06

It's a good album but nothing more.

True it does grow on you but with other chili peppers albums that didn't have to happen, you were hooked from the start.

Overall it seems too long and lacking in flavour when compared to by the way.

Thats not to say im not enjoying it but it is a bit of a let down.

I think this album does require a lot patience (28 tracks). On top of that, it's a bit different than the other pepper's album. I personally think it's a lot easier to appeciate this album if u r a guitar player. John Frusciante rocks!

For those complaining about it being a double album, do you not think that if they brought it down to one cd that the rest of the song's would be on their next cd?

You know an album is a good one when people all like different songs on it. Such is the case with this piece of art.

"Snow ((Hey Oh))" is probably the most Jack Johnson sounding song in the RHCP repetoire. This Message Edited On 05.11.06

Epic!
The best that the peppers have ever released bar none!
I dont know how people can not rate this?
Wet Sand, Torture me, Strip my mind, especially in MI rock!
Snow drags on a bit.
Hump de bump and Charlie are funk masterpeices!
Again, if you havnt bought this one yet, go by it!
