Tbh I find Coward the best because it’s got the perfect balance of melody from the Stephen era balanced out with the more visceral feel of the Jimmy era. Everything before that was too oversaturated with a single sound imo

That being said the only album that completely sucked was Dreamer

Nah this is better than Wolf King. Much more memorable for me due to the amount of diversity in the songwriting

^This. Wolf King and this album are really the only ones that hold up well, their first two have some jams but they just sound so outdated

I feel like there are a lot of missed opportunities in their discography. Like after Burning Bridges they moved away from the mostly free-form metalcore song style and went for more formulaic song structures and it just gets stale with the exception of a few tracks. Pressure the Hinges has awesome production but just regressed further with most of the tracks being heavy rock disguised as metalcore due to the harsh vox and occasional breakdowns.

Their first 3 are pre good (mostly 3.5 area for me) and Dreamer is kinda blah, but this and Wolf King are their best. I don't go back to the early stuff near as much as the last two.
