Yeah, interesting documentary. Wrest was the only one who didn't come across as a socially awkward dweeb.

The only awkward one has the striborg guy, scott connor wasnt that awkward.

He definitely had some type of social disorder. Seems to miss verbal cues while interacting with people, just a bit off. The Striborg guy was just more blatantly weird.

Fair enough, he spends his time alone, I dont think he cares about that.

Quite possibly my album of the year. An if the guy from Striborg can find someone, there's hope for everyone

Ok I just finished it, that was honestly one of the coolest metal documentaries I've ever seen. Wrest and the dude from Striborg are a little off their rocker, but Scott from Xasthur seems to be the most fucked up of the 3 lol. Cool to see them all on camera considering that all of them are straight up loners and keep away from the public eye most of the time.

All that being said, Wrest seems like he'd be a cool dude to hang with for a day and just talk about music and shit. Really sweet documentary.

Just kind of bummed they only picked one artist I actually like haha But still, the insight sounds interesting and I'll definitely check it out when I have time!

I've only heard one Xasthur album and I dig it hard. Never jammed Striborg, but I see he isn't really rated highly on here haha.

Which one? I listened to Portal of Sorrow and a few other tracks here and there and never really dug any of it

And yeah, Striborg I've just avoided based on those ratings which I guess is a little unfair haha

Yeah maybe a little unfair lol. But get Telepathic With the Deceased from Xasthur, that one is a solid 4 for me. I should probably check some of the others.

I'll check that album and see if it changes my opinion of him. I notice a few of his early albums aren't terribly rated so we'll see

Try Telepathic or To violate the oblivious, probably as easy as it gets for him
