The elitist mindset rests on a very simple axiom:
BM bands adding any type of influence to their sound are incompatible with the trve kvlt ( although ambient is somewhat tolerated if is dark ambient)
If any bands violates the axiom you can hear sentences such as:
-this is skramz
-this is hipster black metal
-this is not black metal
-this is radio black metal (???)
-this is not metal
-this is Nickleback
-I know what the true black metal is and this is not

nickelback is pretty alright. nothing incredible nor heinous. the whole anti-nickelback thing came from a fucking tv promo for a shitty comedy central show that got cancelled after like a week but for some reason the commercial became popular and everyone repeated it and here we are.
