I like the album pretty well. I am in the minority of liking We Were Dead WAY more than Good News, and I don't think imo that this is anywhere as diverse as WWD. However, there is some good stuff on it and it still has that MM feel and arrangement to it. I really like the singles, so I'm glad i held off listening to them before the album dropped. I'm sure it has made it seem quite a bit stronger to me because of that.

I have only listened to one other MM album other than this: Moon and Antarctica. So as a relatively new person to their work, this was pretty nice. It's not trying to break any boundaries or revolutionize music, but it's just a nice batch of songs. Sure there are some duds (Pistol), but I enjoyed this quite a lot. I'm feeling around 3.5-4.
