They basically followed the same path as Coldplay except Maroon 5 were never as good in the first place and got even more unfathomably awful.

This is better than Parachutes, not as good as Rush of Blood. Viva La Vida is way too late in Coldplay's career to be considered a factor.

also unrelated but the demo for Sunday Morning is heavenly, I wish it was the version that made the final cut.

that solo is amazing, I like the cowbell, and the drums being more prominent gives it a lot more personality. The studio version is still good, but why did they remove the solo?

i need a band that makes music like this, the groovy/funk pop rock stuff is one of my favorite styles. i was hoping Rixton would scratch that itch, but they decided to just go bland pop.
